Yorkies & Biewer Terriers
The Biewer is a little dog having origins tied to the
Yorkshire Terrier in England in 1886. The Biewers of
Germany later selectively bred it in 1984. They were bred
for the striking white markings that were found in
Yorkshire terriers. The Biewer, a piebald patterned
Yorkie, was officially acknowledged as a separate breed
in 2003, although unofficially recognized years before.
This wonderful companion dog is at the top of the US
popularity list.
